Maria Korusiewicz was born in 1956 in Katowice. She finished English Fililogy at the Śląski University and Art Faculty at the Higher Pedagogical School in Częstochowa. She deals with print and drawing. She presented her works on individual exhibitions in e.g.: the Institut of Polish Culture in London (1986, 1987), in the Art Hall in Bytom, Orgazowitz Gallery in Zagreb (1988), Cottenham Gallery in London (1990). She took part in many competitions and international group exhibitions, e.g.: Frechen (1986, 1990), Seul (she got the Distinction, 1986, 1988), Bristol (1986, 1989), Toronto (1987,1988), Grenoble (1989), Stockholm (1991).
