Monika Cichoń was born in 1980. In 2005 she finished the Print Faculty of the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław. She completed her diploma in Prof.Eugeniusz Get Stankiewicz Studio (drawing) and in Prof.Eugeniusz Smoliński Studio ( graphic design). Before she was studying the Culture Faculty of the Śląski University (1999-2000). She also spent several months studying art at Hochschule fur Grafik und Buchkunstin in Leipzig (Germany). She draws, makes prints and paints. She exhibited her works on a dozen or so individual shows and took part in numerous group exhibitions in Poland and abroad.
The artist had two individual exhibitions in Jan Fejkiel Gallery so far.
